A word from MillMakers
"We particularly like these terrines for their multiple uses. This small format is the one that suits best to present a variety of recipes prepared in small quantities, for instance when we cook a Rijst Tafel, a succulent Indonesian meal consisting of a multitude of small dishes."

PRODUCT INFO

Originally, the Terrine of Paris was used by butchers for all kinds of preparations, including pâtés, potted meats and a wide varieties of cured meats. Today, it can also be used as a mixing bowl, a gratin dish or simply for salads. A simple yet refined finish blends tradition and contemporary aesthetic.

These stoneware products are handcrafted in the workshops of La Manufacture de Digoin in Burgundy. The stoneware paste is made from natural mineral materials sourced in France. Each piece is one-off and can therefore present irregularities which do not alter quality, or resistance.

HOW TO USE

A note from MillMakers

"We use this 1 Liter Bottle to store vegetable oils. If, by chance, the oil flows on the exterior of the bottle, that brings a nice patina, and a little more history to the pure rawness of the sandstone. One may contain Tuscan Olive Oil, and another the famous organic Alma Sunflower Oil. We distinguish the two bottles through a small ribbon on the handle."
